Whole-wheat flour, like all whole grains, is a good source of carbohydrates and will help you be alert and keep you in a good mood throughout the morning. It is a good source of fiber which boosts satiety.



Ingredients

1 cup whole wheat flour

½ cup oats

¼ spoon salt

2 spoon baking powder

1 spoon cinnamon

2 egg white/ or full

1 cup milk

1 banana

1 spoon coco

½ cup thick yogurt

1 small spoon vanilla essence

Directions:

  1. Toss flour, oats, baking powder and cinnamon- TAKE A BIG BOWL
  2. In another bowl mix egg, milk and whisk and add yogurt, banana, coco, vanilla to the mix.
  3. Add 2 to 1. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
  4. Spread some ghee/ butter on a no-stick pan. Make small pancakes (not like dosa).
  5. Top it with honey and have fun!


Tips:

You can replace 1 egg with either

  • 1/4 cup mashed banana (very ripe bananas will increase sweetness so be cautious) or
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda + 1 tablespoon vinegar. Combine separately, then add to recipe for fluffier pancakes.
