Moong dal (also known as green gram) is a nutrient-rich food. It is a vegetarian superfood, packed with protein and extremely light and easy to digest.



Ingredients

1 cup moong dal

½ cup onion, chopped

½ cup tomato, chopped

A small piece of ginger, chopped

Green chilli, chopped

Salt, oil

Curry leaves

Coriander leaves

Mustard seeds

Turmeric powder

Feel free to add peas, cauliflower, carrots

Directions:

  1. Boil vegetables & dal separately till done.
  2. In a pan, heat oil, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, ginger and green chilli. Add other things, dal and veggies. Give it a stir.
  3. Now add coriander leaves, onions and tomato. Serve hot.
